I 23f broke up with my (30M) ex and out of kindness I didn’t really break down the situation to anyone…so I’m confessing it here. I was with my ex for 3.5 years, at first it was amazing and near the end he was begging me to marry him. However the last 1.5 years were hell, he would freak out at me for going to work (I worked in a bar) and would cause a fight anytime I went out without him. But he’d never make date plans or making me feel appreciated. I realized I was done when I went through his phone and found out he was cheating on me for the entire relationship. So I helped him get a job 1/2 way across the country, he left 2 weeks after he got hired. I broke up with him once his plane landed. I never told him why until last week, when he told me he would love me till the day he died - he admitted that he cheated on me, and I found out he was trying to win me back while he was in a relationship with another woman. So I found her on social media and told her everything…that he’s a serial cheater etc. He’s now single again and his whole family took my side.The ex is adamant I ruined his life Edit: he saw this and sent me money with a memo: stop making me look dumb on the internet you already left me ☠️☠️ Also to my ex if you can read this: no u look dumb bc u r my guy….PS tell ur mom I love her 😍
